Fortune are coming back in the DP Podcast game (remember this one and this one).

It starts as a pretty sensual mix making you believe that your are going to have a smooth time but then switches on a complete delightful and bizarre non stop dance track.

The scene might probably be something like that:
you are dancing on joyful sounds when a firm hand coming from behind lays on your shoulder, you turn around and you perceive the whole Fortune band staring at you and pointing at a dark room from where a massive early dance music escapes.
This invitation comes at the minute 32 with the classic track from A Number Of Names. You’ll decide to follow them or not…a choice will have to be made. Choose wisely, listen carefully.

I’ve lastly been hit by some great songs and bands, the music is definitely lively, so fuck the crisis, I was raised in the crisis in a region that’s been sinister for more than 3 decades, growing up with this constant fear of being unemployed.

The debut LP of XX is so relevant in these gloomy times for the economy , if you’re a little sensitive you could cry listening to this album and that would be more than normal.

Smith Westerns were a stunning discovery last week for me, it actually could be seen as an another noisy garage band but they’re actually doing it their own way, really love the album too.

I was first sensitized by “Walkabout” from Atlas Sound but I quickly switched on “Sheila”, I guess it’s because it’s more obvious. I didn’t get their last album yet but I’m sure it’s great.

Black Lips will be in my head for ever I think, I haven’t been carried away in first place by their last album. I’ve seen them for the fourth time in Barcelona @Primavera Sound Festival last summer, it was maybe the best concert where I had the best fun on my own. So I took “200 Million Thousand” with me on vacations, determined to give a chance to this album, and now I’m really found of it.

I’ve discovered this track of Chateau Marmont very late this summer. I went to an after party with them and they put this crazy  “Beagle” track. These guys are full of kindness and fun, I wish them the best for their upcoming album, really.

This The Units’ track remixed by Rory Phillips is just an hymn of joy facing “high presure days”. This synthfunk pioneer band from the late 70’s are  still more than modern.

Big shout out to our mates at Fool House and Sound Pelegrino for their work on this magnificent debut EP of Delorean and this dancing Gucci Vump Remix.

I didn’t cry on XX but I really almost did on this Memory Cassette’s song. We already showcased their video earlier this week, a must see.

Great slow Remix from La Roux

Neon Indian is lately maybe the freshest guy I’ve been listening to in a so dreamed “electro scene”. Listening to this remix of Au Revoir Simone is like flying on the back of a fluffy beast.

September is going to be the beginning of a huge year for Disque Primeur, well, at least the biggest we ever had since the first Fortune’s album, the first Charly Greane’s album and the second Adam Kesher’s album are coming up + other existing projects we will reveal to you as soon as possible.

For your pleasure, and not long after their last DP Podcast from their Berliner tour, Adam Kesher took little of their time to build this mix full of summer love. What kind of nice attention is this ?
The guys are by the beach, near their original homes, awake for a week, reaping profits of each moment they spend in the heat, and kind of conditioning their performance tonight at the Big Festival in Biarritz.

This mix is a soundtrack of a country walk in their minds finishing on a large ocean, it’s about common love for simple things, the sand in your ears, the grilled food on your cheeks, the soothing silent under the water, the nice scenting and gentle breeze of a girl’s body passing by you on the dyke.

Adam Kesher are leaving us with this piece of joy and will come back of course in September with a major subject: their 2nd album.
